The Whitby office was founded in 1985 and started as a small office of two who were focused on building the business, understood the local municipal and land development market, and began to build long term relationships with clients - many of which have become our key clients today.
Since that time, we have expanded our staff, facilities and services and continue to provide our clients with the innovative, practical and cost-effective solutions they expect from us.
Our office currently provides services locally, nationally and internationally in various market sectors. Our continued growth in services has allowed us to adapt to the expectations and needs of our clients in many sectors including: Transportation, Land Development and Finance, Insurance, Real Estate and Legal. The three Canadian leaders in these sectors are located in the Whitby office. The Transportation leader is Michael Maher, Land Development is Steve Keenan and Finance, Insurance, Real Estate and Legal is Tom McIelwain.

Our eastern regional laboratory is located in the Whitby office and can provide various services certified by Canadian Standards Association) and CCIL (Canadian Council of Independent Laboratories) and are leaders in the industry in QA/QC testing, specialised aggregate testing and the classification/verification of performance graded asphalt cements.
Our professional staff have also developed and facilitated specialised training seminars to meet the immediate needs of our clients via Golder Institute.
