Permitting & Stakeholder Engagement

At Golder, we pride ourselves in being able to advise clients on the critical requirements for seeking their environmental permits. We are able to do this through our knowledge of the permitting processes in the many jurisdictions where we are based and work, and our hands-on approach to regulatory liaison.

Wherever possible, we conduct public participation for permitting processes as a joint effort by stakeholders, technical specialists, the authorities and the project proponent, who work together to produce better decisions than if the participants had acted independently. Often, it forms the foundation for the company’s future social license to operate.
