About us

Golder Associates (UK) Ltd was the first of the Golder companies to be set up in Europe, back in 1973, to provide geotechnical and environmental consulting services to a broad section of British, European and International public and private sector organisations. This means that our clients benefit from 35 years of experience, supported by an enthusiastic and energetic approach to all that we do.

Employee owned since our formation, we have created a unique culture with pride in ownership, resulting in enduring relationships and long-term organisational stability. Golder professionals take the time to build an understanding of client needs and of the specific environments in which they operate.  This enables us to help clients achieve their short- and long-term financial, social and environmental goals.

In the UK, our strong and continuing growth means we now employ 285 people* based in 9 offices (Belfast, Bretby, Chelmsford, Edinburgh, Leeds, London, Maidenhead, Nottingham and Oxford).
