Communities

Our people are passionate about the greater good, and they channel that passion into actions that directly impact the world in which we work and live.

Golder Trust for Orphans

As part of our commitment to sustainability, our employees formed the Golder Trust for Orphans in 2003 to provide support to children and families in Africa who have been orphaned or displaced by the AIDS pandemic.

The Trust provides funding to groups engaged in sustainable projects, to permanently support their charitable work. We also provide one-time grants to organizations looking for immediate aid.

To date, our efforts are supporting over 2,500 children in Africa.

Indigenous Partnerships

Golder is committed to working in ways that are welcoming and culturally aware, to ensure all Indigenous Peoples feel acknowledged and respected while doing business with Golder and with our clients.

We have a long history of working with Indigenous communities across North America, with established partnerships with many of these communities.

In Australia, we’re committed to developing stronger connections with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and organisations, and to supporting employment opportunities. Our Reconciliation Action Plan  formalises this commitment and provides a framework to help us bring it to life across our business operations.
