You are cordially invited to come and visit one of our sessions:
Statistical evaluation of groutability with data from hydraulic tests and fracture mapping – Case studies from Sweden
Presented by: Edward Runslätt, Geotechnical Engineer, Stockholm office
Date/Time: Monday, July 10 at 2.00pm – 3.30pm
Session:Â 2A31/ Design and Assessment, Part I
Abstract: The results from three different case studies will be discussed regarding how a statistical analysis in the conceptual design stage can benefit and improve the grouting design in terms of groutability, i.e. predicting the need for grouting and determining the proper grout for a particular rock mass and optimization of the grouting design..
Unified Design Approach for Rock Fissure Grouting – Best Design Practice for Pre-grouting of Rock Tunnels in Sweden
Presented by: Mikael Creütz, Senior Ground Engineer, Stockholm office
Date/Time: Tuesday, July 11 at 2.00pm – 3.30pm
Session:Â 2A32/ Design and Assessment, Part II
Abstract: In order to make sealing of tunnels more efficient the Swedish Transport Administration has initiated a project to develop a unified design approach for rock fissure grouting in hard crystalline rock. The aim of the design approach is to have a coherent and structured process and methodology for grouting design, resulting in an appropriate, similar and transparent design approach independent of designer.
