Webinar: Mitigating Ground Water Risk in Shaft Construction

Mitigating Ground Water Risk in Shaft Construction

Pre-cast concrete segmental shaft construction can be used to combine temporary and permanent works into a single, water-tight lining system. This streamlining of the construction sequence provides significant benefits during construction. This method can often be used in complex areas with minimal disruption to the public and without construction dewatering. On many projects, cost benefit analyses have often proven the method to be cheaper in the long run.

This method is widely used around the world and may offer advantages over more commonly used shaft construction methods in the North American market. During this interactive webinar, Golder specialist, Joe Anderson, will introduce the concept of pre-cast segmental shaft construction, and walk through how it may support your projects.

This webinar is eligible for continuing education credit.
