As part of the INNO+ networking workshops on soil decontamination organized by Écotech Québec, Golder was invited to present to the participating organizations an innovative solution for soil remediation.
This video (available in French only) presents an overview of this co-composting solution
Éric Bergeron, a Project Director at Golder who works with the water treatment and site remediation team, explains the process of co-composting, an innovative, reliable and sustainable solution to treat soil impacted with heavy hydrocarbons. Since 2011, this technique has been successfully applied on a Montreal-East site, and the Golder Quebec team responsible for deploying this solution was presented with the Leonard Environment Award during the 2015 edition of the Gala des Grands Prix du génie-conseil du Québec.
