CALGARY, AB. – Golder Associates Ltd. is pleased to announce that Mark Nixon has been recognized by Oilweek Magazine, as a 2015 Rising Star.
Taking his place among the young and talented as one of Oilweek’s 10 inductees, Mark earned this distinction as an innovator, passionate about advancing his field and community. An Associate and Geotechnical Engineer, Mark has been with Golder since completing his graduate studies at the University of Calgary close to ten years ago.
This month Mark takes to the cover of Oilweek Magazine along with nine other industry leaders who are blazing trails in the Canadian market. As a recently appointed Associate at Golder, Mark expressed with humble surprise how unexpected and rewarding it is to be recognized as a Rising Star, “Without the team of great folks that I work with in the various groups across Golder North America, all of which make Golder look good on a daily basis, this nomination would not have gotten any traction.”
