Nexa Resources has recognized Golder, a member of WSP, as the “Best Provider for 2020 in the Capital Cost Estimation (CAPEX) services”. This acknowledgement is based on the review and evaluation by Nexa’s Supply Management Team of Golder’s performance on its projects and operations in relevant areas, including HSSE, logistics and services provided.
Nexa is a large-scale, low-cost integrated zinc producer with over 60 years of experience developing and operating mining and smelting assets in Latin America. The Company operates and owns five long-life underground mines, three located in the Central Andes of Peru and two located in the state of Minas Gerais in Brazil.
During 2020, the Golder team performed several services for Nexa Resources in Perú and Brasil, with our usual focus on technical excellence and safety. Relevant projects included remediation studies in several mining units and engineering and environmental impact assessment for Magistral project in Perú.
